New Turf Carriers is a family run company: Mark and Dorrie, and their three sons, Michael, Matthew and Marcus.

We have been in long distance horse transport since 1995 and pride ourselves on excellent service, punctuality and loyalty to our clients. Just ask Gary Player, Mrs Oppenheimer, Graham Beck, Mary Slack, Mrs Jaffee, Lee Westwood, Geoff Woodruff, Dennis Drier, Mike Azzie, Dom Zaki, Graeme Winn, and Vee Laros, amongst others.
 
We run 8 trucks around the country weekly as well as doing raceday transport in Port Elizabeth. Our trailers take between 13 and 16 horses each with mares and foals been given extra space.
The welfare of your horse is paramount and to this end we have our own "midway" stop off in Colesberg where we have a stabling facility for 60 horses so that horses on long trips can get off and have a rest during their journey.

Our local vet, Dr. Gavin Rous has his practise next door to this midway stop, so is available if needed.
